Hello. I'm Aishatu Alabi. 

Poetry used to be alien to me. I never enjoyed reading the classics. It never spoke to me. One day, I gave poetry a chance by taking a module in univeristy and I fell in love. Suddenly, a whole new world opened up to me. I found another way to express my feelings and make sense of ny thoughts. 

My favourite thing to write about is love. After all, majority of the songs we like are dedicated to its concept. Battles have been fought in the name of love. Minds have collapsed and mended itself in pursuit of love. Love drives us to become the very best versions of ourselves, or the worst.
